The Motive Gear 1102 Differential Pinion Shim Kit (also called a pinion depth shim kit) is for setting pinion depth during ring and pinion installs and differential rebuilds. Correct pinion depth gives proper gear mesh, helps reduce gear noise, and supports drivetrain reliability. The kit lets you choose the shim thickness your setup needs.
