The NGK 8002 (RC-FE22) spark plug wire set, also called an ignition wire set or plug cable set, is an OE-quality replacement for worn, cracked or high-resistance ignition wires. Worn wires can cause misfires, rough running and radio interference. This set uses a 7mm ultra-low resistance magnetic core with variable pitch winding, and its spark plug and distributor boots meet or exceed OEM specifications.

Key Features:

  • Variable pitch wire winding: delivers low resistance and a strong spark. It also suppresses EMI/RFI noise.
  • High-temperature silicone jacket: resists underhood heat up to 250°C (482°F), moisture, oil and fuel, and cracking from temperature extremes.
  • Fiberglass braid reinforcement: high-density braiding over EPDM/silicone inner insulation gives strong dielectric strength and cable tensile strength.
  • Stainless steel terminals: positive-locking and corrosion-resistant, so they resist vibration and separation.
  • Silicone-sealed spark plug boots: help keep out moisture.
  • Easy installation: wires are numbered for cylinder identification, and the coil wire is color coded.
