Product Details

The MAHLE P28128 Axle Housing Cover Gasket, also sold under the Victor Reinz name, is a differential cover gasket (also called a pumpkin cover gasket). It seals the joint between the differential cover and the axle housing. This keeps gear oil in and keeps dirt and moisture out.

Key Features:

  • Seals the differential cover to the axle housing to help prevent gear oil leaks
  • Helps protect the ring and pinion and the bearings from contamination, so lubrication stays reliable
  • Made for a rear axle with a 14-bolt cover and a 10.500 in ring gear
  • Made to match OE form, fit and function
  • Cross-references: Victor Reinz 71-14832-00, RD35032, RDS55063

Replace the gasket whenever you remove the differential cover for gear oil service or axle repairs. A fresh gasket helps give a leak-free seal. Clean the mating surfaces before installation.
