Product Details

The COMP Cams SK11-692-8 Magnum solid roller camshaft SK-Kit is engineered for Chevrolet Big Block 396-454 engines seeking aggressive performance with a 246/246 duration profile. This solid roller design delivers superior valve control and increased RPM capability compared to hydraulic designs, making it ideal for high-performance street/strip applications and racing engines.

Complete SK-Kit Includes:

  • Magnum 246/246 solid roller camshaft with premium billet core
  • High-quality solid roller lifters designed for extreme valve spring pressures
  • Performance timing chain set for precise valve timing
  • Assembly lube for proper break-in protection
  • Installation instructions and COMP Cams decals

This kit provides all the essential valvetrain components needed for a professional camshaft installation. The solid roller design offers maximum performance potential with reduced friction and enhanced durability at high RPM. The 246/246 duration specification delivers strong mid-range to top-end power, making it suitable for engines with modified cylinder heads, increased compression, and performance induction systems.

Note: Solid roller camshafts require hardened pushrods, appropriate valvetrain geometry, and higher spring pressures. Professional installation and proper break-in procedures are strongly recommended.
