Product Details

The COMP Cams SK08-302-8 is a complete hydraulic roller camshaft kit designed specifically for computer-controlled small block Chevrolet engines with factory roller cam provisions. This comprehensive SK-Kit (Small Kit) provides everything needed for a camshaft upgrade in one convenient package.

Camshaft Specifications:

  • Advertised Duration: 210°/220° (intake/exhaust)
  • Hydraulic roller design for reduced friction and increased durability
  • Computer-controlled profile compatible with OE engine management systems
  • Designed for stock converter and rear gear applications
  • Maintains good vacuum for power brakes and accessories

Complete Kit Includes:

  • Hydraulic roller camshaft
  • Hydraulic roller lifters (16)
  • Timing chain set with gears
  • COMP Cams assembly lube
  • Installation instructions
  • COMP Cams decals

This kit is engineered for small block Chevy engines equipped from the factory with roller cam provisions (typically 1987-up 305/350ci engines). The conservative duration profile makes it an excellent choice for street-driven vehicles where maintaining driveability, fuel economy, and compatibility with computer controls is essential. The hydraulic roller design offers the performance benefits of a roller cam with the simplicity of hydraulic operation—no valve lash adjustments required.
