ARB RD212 Air Locker Differential with Pneumatic Activation

The ARB RD212 Air Locker Differential delivers 100% traction on demand without compromising highway driving performance. Featuring ARB's improved two-piece design with forged gears and backed by an industry-leading five-year warranty, this differential locker is engineered for serious off-road capability and long-term durability.

How It Works:

The Air Locker utilizes a pneumatically operated locking mechanism activated by a 12-volt ARB air compressor. When engaged via a simple dash-mounted switch, the locking system prevents the differential gears from rotating independently, locking both axle shafts directly to the ring gear. This ensures both wheels receive equal power and maintain maximum traction in challenging terrain. When deactivated, the unit functions like a conventional open differential for normal on-road driving.

Key Features:

• Two-piece construction with forged gears for enhanced strength and reliability
• Pneumatic activation system provides instant engagement and disengagement
• Operates from the driver's seat with simple switch control
• Maintains stock highway manners when unlocked
• Five-year manufacturer warranty for peace of mind
• Enables controlled, precise vehicle movement to minimize environmental impact

Benefits:

Air Lockers transform your 4x4's off-road performance by providing true traction control exactly when needed. The on-demand activation allows you to navigate obstacles with slower, safer, more controlled driving that reduces the risk of vehicle damage and trail damage. Unlike always-on lockers, the ARB system preserves normal differential operation for comfortable daily driving and highway use.
