Product Details

The DBA DBA42440XS 4000 Series is a high-performance slotted disc brake rotor engineered for drivers who demand more from their braking system. Built on DBA's proven 4000 Series platform, this rotor features the brand's signature Geomet® protective coating to resist corrosion and extend service life, keeping your brakes looking and performing their best over the long haul.

Key Features:

  • Kangaroo Paw™ vane technology — DBA's patented asymmetric vane design dramatically improves airflow through the rotor, reducing operating temperatures and improving fade resistance under hard braking
  • XS (Cross-Drilled & Slotted) surface — cross-drilled holes and slots work together to evacuate heat, gas, and debris from the braking surface for consistent, reliable bite
  • Geomet® corrosion protection — premium zinc-based coating resists rust and corrosion without compromising braking performance
  • Street and performance-track ready — suitable for spirited street driving and light track use, offering an upgrade over standard OEM rotors
  • Precision balanced — manufactured to tight tolerances to minimize vibration and eliminate brake pedal pulsation
  • OE-compatible fitment — direct bolt-on replacement requiring no modifications

DBA (Disc Brakes Australia) has been manufacturing premium brake components since 1969. The 4000 Series XS rotor represents a strong balance of everyday driveability and enhanced performance, making it an ideal upgrade for performance-minded drivers seeking improved heat handling, shorter stopping distances, and longer rotor life compared to stock components.

Good site easy to search for and find parts. The lowest prices on almost every part I have been able to find for my truck.

Seller was quick and hasle free to deal with. Will purchase again from this seller.

Had a great price on the parts that I wanted, informed me immediately that the products were back ordered from the manufacturer, and wanted to know if I wanted the parts dropped shipped from the manufacturer or what. They said if I wanted to wait it would take around 2 weeks to ship, they arrived in a week.
