Product Details

The Dorman 601-016 Automatic Transmission Pressure Sensor Transducer is a direct replacement component that monitors hydraulic pressure within the automatic transmission system. This sensor provides critical real-time pressure data to the vehicle's Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or Transmission Control Module (TCM), enabling precise shift timing and optimal transmission performance.

Key Features:

  • Direct-fit replacement for worn or failed OE pressure sensor transducers
  • Monitors transmission fluid pressure to ensure proper gear shifting
  • Provides continuous feedback to the PCM/TCM for adaptive transmission control
  • Rigorous quality testing to ensure reliable operation and durability
  • Helps prevent transmission damage by maintaining proper pressure monitoring

When this sensor fails, symptoms may include harsh shifting, transmission slipping, delayed engagement, or illuminated check engine/transmission warning lights. Replacing a faulty transmission pressure sensor restores proper communication between the transmission and control modules, ensuring smooth operation and protecting your transmission from potential damage caused by incorrect shift points.
