Moroso 21551 Dry Sump Oil Pan for Sprint Car Dart Brodix

The Moroso 21551 is a fully fabricated dry sump oil pan specifically engineered for Sprint Car applications using Dart or Brodix spread rail cylinder heads. This specialized pan is designed for configurations without a cross-member under the engine, making it ideal for dedicated race chassis.

Key Features:

• Fully fabricated aluminum construction for maximum strength and light weight
• Dry sump oiling system for superior oil control at high RPM
• Three -12AN female fittings on front face for scavenge pump connections
• Three internal pickup locations for optimal oil management
• Designed specifically for Dart and Brodix spread rail cylinder heads
• Fits Sprint Car chassis without under-engine cross-member

Dry sump oiling systems are essential for top-level racing where maximum power and oil control are critical. By keeping the crankshaft free of excess oil, the engine spins more freely and achieves its full power potential. The three -12AN fittings allow proper connection to external scavenge pumps, while the three pickup locations ensure consistent oil evacuation under extreme cornering and acceleration forces encountered in Sprint Car competition.

This pan is race-proven in the demanding world of dirt and asphalt Sprint Car racing, where oil control can mean the difference between winning and engine failure.
