Cometic C5936-060 GM LSX Small Block MLS Head Gasket Bore - Gen-4 V8 4.185 060

The Cometic C5936-060 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for GM LSX Gen-4 small block V8 engines. This precision-manufactured gasket features a .060" compressed thickness and is designed for a 4.185" bore diameter, making it ideal for performance builds and engine rebuilds requiring exact sealing specifications.

Key Features:

• Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction provides superior sealing and durability under high compression and extreme temperatures
• .060" compressed gasket thickness allows for precise compression ratio tuning
• 4.185" bore diameter optimized for LSX Gen-4 applications
• Left-hand side (LHS) application gasket
• Advanced embossing technology ensures even load distribution across the sealing surface
• Resistant to blowout and gasket failure common with composite gaskets
• Compatible with aluminum and iron cylinder heads

Cometic's MLS gaskets feature multiple layers of stainless steel with strategically placed elastomer coatings that respond to flange pressure and allow the gasket to recover while maintaining torque integrity. This design makes them the preferred choice for high-performance and racing applications where reliability is critical. Perfect for LS2, LS3, LS7, and other Gen-4 LSX engine builds.
