The Moroso 21047 Eliminator is a performance drag race oil pan designed specifically for Big Block Chevy Mark IV engines. This wet sump oil pan features a core-based design utilizing the stock pan rail bolt pattern, making installation straightforward while delivering race-proven oil control.

  • 6-quart capacity with standard volume pump, 7-quart capacity with high volume pump
  • 8-inch deep rear sump with 5-inch front depth for stroker clearance
  • Passenger-side kick-out design for horsepower savings and improved oil control
  • Integrated louvered steel windage tray with main cap partitions for maximum power and oil control
  • Black powder-coated steel construction with clear zinc finish
  • Includes magnetic drain plug and dipstick provision
  • Compatible with 168 and 153-tooth flywheel combinations
  • Clears 4.50-inch stroke with most aluminum rods

This oil pan is ideal for bracket race cars and budget Super Stock applications. The offset sump design helps maintain consistent oil pressure under braking, while the louvered tray controls oil effectively at high RPM. Some modifications may be necessary to fit cross-membered cars. Compatible with Moroso BBC race pumps and M77/M77HV style pumps.

The part number was for a Moog suspension component. That's what I thought I was getting. Turned out to be a no-name brand. Tie rods aren't that complicated so I decided to install the no-name brand. Other than the nasty brand name surprise, all went well.
