Prothane 7-132 Body Mount Bushing Kit for GM Vehicles 1978-1988

The Prothane 7-132 body mount bushing kit offers a cost-effective upgrade for GM vehicles from 1978 to 1988, replacing worn-out factory rubber body mounts with high-performance polyurethane bushings. This kit dramatically improves chassis rigidity and handling response while maintaining the comfort needed for daily driving.

Key Features:

• Precision-engineered polyurethane construction resists compression and deterioration better than OEM rubber
• Reduces body roll and improves steering response for enhanced handling characteristics
• Maintains quiet operation with proper resilience to dampen vibration and road noise
• Engineered for both off-road durability and street performance applications
• Direct replacement for factory body mount bushings—no modifications required
• Resistant to oil, chemicals, and extreme temperatures that destroy rubber mounts

Body mount bushings are critical components that isolate the vehicle body from the frame while maintaining structural integrity. When factory rubber mounts deteriorate, they allow excessive movement between the body and frame, creating alignment issues, squeaks, and poor handling. Prothane's polyurethane formula provides the necessary rigidity to eliminate this unwanted movement while retaining enough flexibility to absorb impacts and maintain ride quality.
