Product Details

The Sachs SG315011 is a gas-charged trunk lid lift support designed to restore the smooth, safe operation of your vehicle's trunk. This precision-engineered strut provides the correct amount of pressure to lift and hold your trunk lid in the open position, eliminating the need for manual propping and ensuring both hands remain free when loading or unloading cargo.

Key Features:

  • Gas-charged hydraulic cylinder for reliable lifting performance
  • Restores original opening and closing speeds of trunk lids
  • Engineered to OE specifications for exact fit and function
  • Durable construction with corrosion-resistant components
  • Direct replacement for worn or failed factory lift supports

Sachs, manufactured by Stabilus (also known as Lift-O-Mat), is a trusted OE supplier of lift supports for automotive applications. Over time, trunk lift supports can weaken due to normal wear and exposure to temperature changes, causing the trunk lid to drop unexpectedly or fail to stay open. Replacing failed lift supports is essential for both convenience and safety. Lift supports should be replaced in pairs to ensure balanced, reliable performance.
