Power Stop KC1990 Evolution Sport Drilled Slotted Brake Kit with Powder Coated Calipers - Z23 Red

The Power Stop KC1990 Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Kit is a complete, bolt-on brake upgrade engineered for daily drivers who demand better stopping performance without sacrificing comfort or clean-looking wheels. This all-inclusive kit bundles carbon-fiber ceramic brake pads, drilled and slotted rotors, red powder coated calipers, premium stainless-steel hardware, and high-temperature ceramic brake lubricant — everything needed for a straightforward installation with no modifications required.

Z23 Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads

Power Stop's proprietary Z23 compound infuses carbon fiber into a ceramic brake pad formula to deliver significantly enhanced braking power compared to traditional ceramic pads. Dual-layer high-temp rubberized shims insulate against noise for virtually silent operation, while the low-dust formulation — validated through third-party on-vehicle testing — keeps wheels looking cleaner with an average of 30% less dust versus OEM pads.

Drilled & Slotted Zinc-Plated Rotors

Precision cross-drilled holes maximize rotor cooling by allowing heat to escape during repeated stops, while rounded slots continuously wipe away gas and debris to maintain a clean, consistent contact patch. Rotors are cast from G3000 metallurgy to strict OE tolerances and feature a zinc dichromate plating that provides long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion.

Red Powder Coated Calipers

Each caliper is professionally assembled, inspected, and pressure tested at Power Stop's Chicago, IL facility. The red powder coat finish resists corrosion, is easy to clean, and delivers an aggressive look behind open or stock wheels.
