Product Details

The Gates 23956 is a premium molded coolant hose manufactured to OEM-quality specifications for reliable radiator hose replacement. This pre-shaped hose is engineered with specifically-designed materials that resist collapse under vacuum and electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure.

Key Features:

  • EPDM tube construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement
  • Heat-, ozone-, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover
  • Pre-shaped to fit and ensure perfectly sealed conditions
  • Temperature range: -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)
  • Meets requirements of SAE 20R4, class D2 and DIN 73411, class A

This direct replacement hose is designed to match the fit and function of the original hose on specified vehicles, restoring functionality and providing reliable replacement for hoses that have failed due to heat and fatigue. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed. Not for use in fuel or oil transfer applications.
