Product Details

The Dorman 604-283 HVAC air door actuator is an auxiliary mode actuator designed to directly replace the original equipment actuator on specific vehicle applications. This actuator controls airflow direction within the HVAC system, restoring proper climate control operation when the factory component fails.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement design engineered to match the fit and function of the original equipment actuator
  • Includes special alignment tool that fits any 1/4 inch square-drive ratchet for proper door positioning during installation and calibration
  • Position-specific actuator designed for auxiliary mode function in the HVAC system
  • Durable construction engineered and tested to strict standards to resist mechanical wear and electrical failure
  • Backed by Dorman's century of automotive aftermarket expertise

This is a position-specific component—many vehicles utilize multiple HVAC actuators in different locations controlling different functions. Verify this actuator matches the specific position and function you need to replace by checking your vehicle's application notes to ensure proper fit and operation.

Easy to order!

Best prices anywhere.

I hope its the correct part!

Ordering it was easy. Delivery was completed on the 27th which seemed to take an awful long time to receive the part after ordering

There.was a bit of miscommunication between sales and shipping departments, but my order was filled and shipped as stated. Very low price, in fact the lowest on the net, and I did alot of research. Other than the shipping issue, I'm very satisfied and will buy more parts from them soon. Thank you!!!
