Quick Fuel Technology: Innovators in Fuel Systems Since 1998
Quick Fuel Technology (QFT) has been setting the standard for performance fuel systems since its founding in 1998. Since its inception, Quick Fuel Technology has grown exponentially, culminating in becoming the benchmark by which performance carburetors are measured. Based in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and now operating under the Holley family of brands, QFT built its reputation the hard way — on the race track and in the garage, one precisely assembled carburetor at a time.
A Legacy Built on Racing Innovation
Quick Fuel Technology introduced their Q Series carburetors in the year 2000, and since then these carburetors have become synonymous with performance and value — representing the standard by which all other performance carburetors are measured. From there, the brand never stopped pushing boundaries. Since the Q Series introduction, Quick Fuel has expanded their line to include Professional Series carburetors for the hard-core racer, both drag and circle track, as well as the Dominator Series.
In 2005, Quick Fuel Technology introduced its Super Street line of carburetors — an application-specific line catered to the enthusiast who wanted the best carburetor for the money while refusing to compromise street manners. Then in 2009, Quick Fuel Technology launched the QFX-Series, a design that incorporates significant race-engineered main body upgrades, with each carburetor individually hand-assembled and engine tested.
QFT was the first to introduce billet metering blocks and billet base plates to the aftermarket industry, and Quick Fuel's innovations allowed users greater tuning flexibility via advanced features. QFT's carburetors were also granted approval by the NHRA for use in Stock and Super Stock racing. Throughout the company's history, its founders earned nine patents for fuel system innovations.
A Complete Fuel System Lineup
Today, QFT offers far more than just carburetors. Quick Fuel also designs and manufactures components like metering blocks, accelerator pumps, air bleeds, pump cams, jets, gaskets, and more, all made to the same exacting tolerances as Quick Fuel carbs. Rounding out the lineup, Quick Fuel's carburetors are celebrated for their adjustable air bleeds, billet metering blocks, and throttle bodies that provide unparalleled tuning capabilities, while their electric fuel pumps offer high GPH rates to ensure consistent fuel supply under all conditions.
Whether you're building a weekend cruiser or a dedicated race machine, QFT's broad catalog — spanning complete carburetors, carburetor accessories, and carburetor choke thermostats — gives you the tuning flexibility to dial in your fuel system with confidence. Quick Fuel Technology carburetors are used to control the air and fuel mixture going into a carbureted performance or race engine, and QFT builds carburetors for different engine sizes, fuel types, and racing applications.
