Product Details

The Gates 6975 PoweRated V-Belt is design-engineered to handle virtually any utility application, transmitting more horsepower than conventional utility belts—up to 17 horsepower. This 5L750K belt measures 75 inches in length with a 21/32 inch top width. The belt features a 5L section profile with 3/8 inch height and 75.0 inch outside circumference.

Key Features:

  • Distinctive green color bareback construction provides smooth clutching on shock-loaded, backside idler-driven equipment with high crack resistance
  • Low-positioned aramid tensile cord in thin profile delivers extreme flexibility, limited stretch, extraordinary strength and durability
  • Outstanding performance on drives with backside idlers
  • Meets RMA oil and heat-resistant standards
  • Temperature range: -22°F to +140°F (-30°C to +60°C)
  • Kevlar cord reinforcement for superior strength

PoweRated belts are ideal for outdoor power equipment, appliances, and industrial applications where Fractional Horsepower (FHP) belts are typically used. These belts are specifically recommended for heavy-duty drives and clutching applications. Gates PoweRated V-belts can be substituted for equivalent sizes of FHP low horsepower Gates Truflex V-belts.
