Product Details

The Gates 29690PB Green Stripe Powerband B-Section V-Belt is a high-performance banded V-belt engineered for demanding industrial and agricultural drive applications. Powerband belts join multiple V-belt strands with a durable top band, eliminating the belt flip and turnover common in high-torque, pulsating, or shock-load conditions.

Key Features:

  • Green Stripe Powerband design — multiple B-section strands united by a sturdy tie band for synchronized, vibration-resistant power transfer
  • B-section profile — industry-standard cross-section compatible with B-section sheaves and pulleys
  • High-strength tensile cords — provide excellent load-carrying capacity and resistance to stretching
  • Oil- and heat-resistant rubber compound — withstands harsh operating environments including temperature extremes and contaminant exposure
  • Notch-free banded construction — reduces heat buildup and extends belt and sheave life compared to traditional wrapped V-belts
  • Maintenance-free operation — no re-tensioning required after initial installation break-in

Gates Powerband belts are a trusted solution for heavy-duty drives on agricultural equipment, industrial machinery, HVAC systems, and accessory drive systems where standard V-belts are prone to rollover or slippage. The MPN 29690PB is a direct replacement option compatible with OEM-specified banded B-section belt drives.

Really couldn't beat the price, I tried to find a better price and couldn't. I just wish it didn't take so long to ship it. I placed my order 4 days ago on a Sunday night hoping to get it by Saturday. They just shipped it today on Thursday. So now I have to wait through this weekend and next week. I ordered other things from different companys on the same day and received from them already. So I guess that's price I pay for a good deal.

Easy order I guess I'll see hopefully my part gets here soon

So far so good
