Gates 22952 Premium Molded Coolant Radiator Hose

The Gates 22952 Premium Molded Coolant Hose is engineered for reliable performance in radiator coolant applications. This pre-shaped lower radiator hose is designed to fit from engine to radiator, providing OEM-quality specifications without the dealership price.

Advanced Construction:

• EPDM Tube Construction: Features an EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) inner tube with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement for superior strength
• Heat and Chemical Resistant Cover: EPDM cover resists heat, ozone, and chemical coolant degradation
• Vacuum Collapse Resistant: Re-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum conditions, reducing the need for internal springs
• Electrochemical Degradation Resistance: Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of coolant hose failure

Quality Standards:

• Meets SAE 20R4 and 20R3 Type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications
• Pre-shaped to ensure proper fit and perfectly sealed connections
• Approved for marine applications
• Part of Gates' comprehensive molded coolant hose line

Installation Notes: Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal sealing. This hose is intended for coolant applications only and should not be used for fuel or oil transfer.
