Supertech Performance VWEVN-1017 VW 2.0L Exhaust Valve Black Nitrided Undercut

The Supertech Performance VWEVN-1017 is a high-performance exhaust valve engineered for Volkswagen 2.0L engines. Measuring 34mm head diameter x 7mm stem x 90.95mm overall length, this valve features a 1mm oversize head diameter, an undercut stem, and a dished head profile — ideal for high-flow cylinder head builds and performance applications.

Manufactured from one-piece forged EV8 (21-4N) stainless steel, this valve delivers superior strength and reliability over multi-piece alternatives. The one-piece forging process eliminates weak points and ensures consistent dimensional accuracy critical in high-RPM and high-heat environments.

Key Features:

• Black Nitride Coating: Applied to the entire valve surface — not just the stem — for uniform hardness (800HV minimum microhardness). The nitrided layer bonds at a microscopic level so it will not flake or crack, even under valve-to-piston impact conditions.
• Smoother Stem Surface: Black nitride produces a finer surface finish than chrome-coated stems, reducing friction between the valve stem and guide for improved longevity and flow efficiency.
• Undercut Stem Design: Reduces stem mass in the port area, improving airflow and high-RPM throttle response.
• Dished Head Profile: Optimized combustion chamber geometry for improved performance in modified cylinder heads.
• 1mm Oversize Diameter: Designed for use with recut or refreshed cylinder head seats, making it ideal for head rebuild and performance upgrade applications.
• One-Piece Forged EV8 (21-4N) Stainless Steel: Industry-standard high-temperature alloy providing excellent oxidation resistance and durability under sustained exhaust temperatures.

Sold individually — per valve. Order the quantity equal to the number of exhaust valves your engine requires (e.g., order 8 for a 4-cylinder with 2 exhaust valves per cylinder).
