The Supertech Performance TEVN-1083D is a high-performance Black Nitrided exhaust valve featuring an oversized 33.50mm (+1.5mm) head diameter, 6.97mm stem diameter, and 98.10mm overall length. Manufactured from EV16 stainless steel and finished with a swirl-polished dish face, this valve is engineered for demanding performance and racing applications.

Black Nitride Coating Advantages:

  • Minimum surface microhardness of 800HV — harder than the base stainless steel material while retaining ductility beneath the treated layer
  • Smoother surface finish than chrome-coated stems, resulting in reduced friction between the valve stem and guide
  • Nitride treatment is bonded at a microscopic level and will not flake or fracture under high-stress conditions, including valve-to-piston contact events
  • Black Nitride is applied to the entire valve, unlike chrome coating which is applied to the stem only
