The Supertech Performance TEVN-1045 is a high-performance exhaust racing valve engineered for demanding motorsport and street performance applications. Backed by over 30 years of racing valve manufacturing experience, Supertech produces each valve using slow-forging processes, precision CNC machining, and application-specific heat treatments to deliver exceptional strength, durability, and high-flow efficiency.

Material & Construction:

• One-Piece Forged Stainless Steel (EV8 / 21-4N): The primary construction material for maximum strength and reliability. EV8 (21-4N) stainless provides excellent resistance to heat and mechanical stress in high-performance and boosted applications.
• Inconel 751 Nickel-Base Alloy Option: Available for extreme heat environments such as turbocharged or supercharged builds. Inconel's nickel-base alloy provides outstanding temperature distribution, helping lower overall cylinder head temperatures under sustained high-load conditions.

Stem Coating Options:

• Chrome Coating: A proven surface treatment widely used in high-performance valves, applied to the valve stem for durability and wear resistance.
• Black Nitride Treatment: A hardening process applied to the entire valve — not just the stem — that achieves a minimum surface microhardness of 800HV. The nitrided layer bonds at a microscopic level to the base material, meaning it will not flake or crack even if the valve contacts a piston. The result is a smoother surface finish than chrome, producing less friction between the valve stem and guide for extended service life.
