The Supertech Performance TEVN-1031 is a Black Nitrided exhaust valve precision-engineered for high-revving performance engines. Manufactured from high-nickel content SAE EV8 (21-4N) stainless steel in a single-piece forged construction, this exhaust valve delivers exceptional strength, heat resistance, and durability under demanding race and street conditions.

The Black Nitride treatment is applied to the entire valve — not just the stem — creating a hardened surface layer with a minimum microhardness of 800HV. This results in a smoother surface finish than chrome-coated valves, reducing friction between the valve stem and guide for improved longevity and performance. Unlike chrome plating, the nitrided layer bonds at a microscopic level and will not flake or fracture under impact.

The undercut stem design further improves flow characteristics, while the swirl-polished finish aids combustion efficiency. This valve is sold individually — order the quantity that matches your engine's exhaust valve count.

SO HAPPY! I have to admit, I was hesitant because I had never heard of autoplicity and there wasn't item a picture up for the Thule T2 rack I bought, but wow am I happy. Autopliicity had it for $100 less than other sites and the shipper was Amazon prime fast!!! Definitely a happy customer!!!!
