Material Options:

• Stainless Steel (EV8 / 21-4N Alloy): One-piece forged construction for superior strength and reliability. Supertech primarily utilizes EV8 (21-4N) stainless steel for both intake and exhaust valves, with additional alloys and specialized heat treatments available for specific performance applications.
• Inconel 751 Nickel-Base Alloy: Designed for exhaust valves operating under extreme heat conditions, such as those found in turbocharged or supercharged engines, where standard stainless steel alloys may be insufficient.

Protective Coatings:

• Chrome Coating: A widely used treatment in performance valve applications, providing excellent surface hardness and heat resistance.
• Black Nitride Coating: A surface-hardening treatment that delivers a smoother finish than chrome, resulting in reduced friction between the valve stem and guide for improved longevity and performance.
