Supertech Performance BMEVN-1040 Black Nitrided Exhaust Valve EV16 Stainless Steel

The Supertech Performance BMEVN-1040 is a Black Nitrided stainless steel exhaust valve engineered for high-performance and race engine applications. Manufactured from EV16 stainless steel as a single-piece forged construction, this valve delivers exceptional strength, durability, and thermal resistance demanded by demanding engine builds.

Key Specifications:

• Head Diameter: 30.50mm
• Stem Diameter: 5.95mm
• Overall Length: 126.10mm
• Material: EV16 Stainless Steel with Black Nitride treatment
• Valve Type: Exhaust
• Groove Type: Triple Groove
• Size: Stock replacement dimensions

Black Nitride Coating Advantages:

• Microhardness exceeds 800HV minimum — harder than the base stainless steel material while maintaining ductility beneath the surface layer
• Smoother surface finish compared to chrome-coated stems, reducing friction between valve stem and guide
• Applied to the entire valve surface (not stem-only like chrome coating), providing complete protection
• Bonded at a microscopic level — will not flake or fracture if the valve bends on piston impact

Supertech One-Piece Forged Construction:

• Forged from a single billet for superior structural integrity over multi-piece designs
• Engineered to withstand the high thermal and mechanical loads of turbocharged, supercharged, and high-revving naturally aspirated engines
• Backed by Supertech's decades of motorsport manufacturing experience and continuous development with professional engine builders

Supertech Performance valves are sold individually (per valve). Order the quantity that matches the number of exhaust valves required for your engine build.
