The Spec Clutch SC45A is a billet aluminum flywheel engineered for street high-performance and racing applications. CNC-machined to an industry-leading .001-inch tolerance — ten times tighter than the industry standard of .010 — this flywheel delivers exceptional rotational balance and a perfectly flat clutch disc bedding surface, reducing vibration and power-robbing dimensional runout.

The flywheel body is constructed from tempered aircraft-quality aluminum — either 6061-T6 or 2024-T3 — for maximum strength at the lightest possible weight. A 1/4-inch thick replaceable steel friction plate made from 1050 high-carbon alloy provides outstanding durability and holding power across all friction disc materials. The friction plate is secured using aerospace-grade fasteners or stainless steel rivets, depending on application, chosen for their exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. The ring gear is pressed on, secured with Grade 10 fasteners, and heat treated for long service life.
