Spec Clutch SC423Z Stage 3 Performance Clutch Kit with Carbon Semi-Metallic Disc

The Spec Clutch SC423Z Stage 3 Clutch Kit is engineered for heavily modified street and race engines that demand serious torque capacity without sacrificing daily drivability. Designed for aggressive street/strip use, this kit delivers a comfortable pedal feel, quick engagement, and excellent wear characteristics under both low and high stress conditions.

At the heart of the Stage 3 system is a carbon semi-metallic puck disc — SPEC's industry-leading friction material choice for its proven balance of drivability, service life, and torque capacity. The kit ships standard with a 6-puck sprung hub disc, though a 4-puck configuration can be specified at the time of ordering depending on application requirements.

Kit Includes:

• High-clamp performance pressure plate
• Carbon semi-metallic 4 or 6-puck friction disc (6-puck standard on most applications)
• High-torque sprung hub and disc assembly
• Release bearing
• Installation tool kit

Recommended Driving Applications:

• Street / Street-Strip
• Drag Racing
• Drifting
• Road Racing
• Rallye
• Pulling
• Autocross

The Stage 3 clutch occupies SPEC's high-performance tier — more aggressive than a Stage 2 but retaining streetable engagement characteristics. It is an ideal upgrade for modified engines running elevated power and torque levels where a stock or Stage 1/2 clutch is no longer sufficient. All SPEC clutch kits and flywheels are SFI approved and proudly manufactured in the U.S.A.
