The Spec Clutch SD853H Stage 2 Plus Clutch Kit bridges the gap between the Stage 2 and Stage 3 clutch systems, delivering elevated torque capacity while preserving the familiar, street-friendly engagement feel of the Stage 2. Engineered specifically for highly modified engines that have outgrown standard Stage 2 capacity, this kit provides a 15–20% higher torque rating without sacrificing daily drivability.

At the heart of the Stage 2 Plus is a full-face, multi-friction disc combining carbon semi-metallic material on one side and Kevlar on the other. This hybrid friction compound delivers consistent engagement, strong wear resistance, and reliable torque transfer across a wide range of driving conditions. The hub is double-sprung with spring cover reliefs for added flexibility, and all hub components are heat-treated for long-term strength and durability.
