Spec Clutch SD743H Stage 2 Plus Performance Clutch Kit

The SPEC SD743H Stage 2 Plus Clutch Kit is engineered for modified engines that demand more torque capacity than a standard Stage 2 clutch can handle. Bridging the gap between Stage 2 and Stage 3, this kit delivers the smooth, street-friendly engagement feel of the Stage 2 while providing a 15–20% higher torque capacity — making it an ideal choice for high-performance builds that still see regular street use.

Key Features:

• Multi-friction composite disc in a full-faced configuration — carbon semi-metallic material on one side and Kevlar® on the other for superior grip and wear resistance
• High-clamp pressure plate for increased clamping force without sacrificing drivability
• Double-sprung hub with spring cover reliefs for flexibility, and heat-treated components for long-term strength and durability
• High-torque sprung hub and disc assembly for reliable power transfer under demanding conditions
• Includes bearing and tool kit for a complete installation
• Designed, hand-built, and tested in the U.S.A.

Intended Use: Street, Drag, Road Race, Rally, Pulling, Autocross

The Stage 2 Plus is the go-to upgrade for drivers who need more holding power than a Stage 2 but want to preserve the daily drivability and smooth engagement that aggressive stage clutches often sacrifice. Excellent wear characteristics make it a practical long-term solution for modified street and competition vehicles.
