The Spec Clutch SC072 Stage 2 Clutch Kit is a high-performance clutch upgrade engineered for mild to moderately modified naturally aspirated and forced induction engines. It delivers an ideal balance of street drivability and increased torque capacity, making it equally at home on daily-driven street cars and weekend performance builds.

At the heart of the Stage 2 kit is a segmented or full-faced pure Kevlar disc with steel backing. This friction material retains the smooth, stock-like engagement feel of a Stage 1 clutch while offering improved wear life and a higher torque threshold. The high clamp pressure plate increases clamping force over the factory unit, and the high-torque sprung hub and disc assembly uses a double-sprung design with spring cover relieves for added flexibility and heat-treated components for long-term strength and durability.
