Product Details

The GFB 4003 Short Shift Kit delivers a race-inspired shifting experience for 2002 and newer Subaru STi models equipped with 6-speed transmissions. Engineered to provide the shortest throw available on the market, this basic kit transforms your factory shifter into a precise, responsive performance component.

Key Features:

  • Adjustable shift throw allows customization to your driving preference
  • Proprietary linkage clamp design achieves shorter throws than competing shifters
  • Installs entirely from inside the cabin using basic hand tools—no need to work underneath the vehicle
  • Reduces shift travel for faster, more direct gear changes
  • Maintains factory shift pattern and reverse lockout functionality

This basic kit includes the essential components needed to upgrade your shift linkage. The adjustable design lets you dial in your preferred throw length, while the unique clamp mechanism ensures solid engagement without slop. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in under an hour with common tools.

Quick and easy. I would like a little more confirmation before the order was actually sent. Also, an estimated ship time would be nice. But other than that this was very trouble free. Thanks
