Product Details

The Cusco Type OS is the most popular strut tower bar in the Cusco lineup, and for good reason. Part number 687 540 A is a front strut tower brace engineered to bridge the two front strut towers, reducing chassis flex for improved balance and handling under hard cornering.

The bar is constructed from tubular aluminum with an oval cross-section and a high-polish finish, delivering an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Cusco offers the Type OS in two structural variants — the Type 1 pressed ribbed design and the Type 2 sectioned design — and has pre-selected the optimal configuration for each application.

Key Features:

  • Lightweight oval-shaft aluminum construction with high-polish finish
  • Available in pressed ribbed (Type 1) or sectioned (Type 2) configurations
  • End plates finished in signature Cusco blue anodized paint
  • Includes all required hardware for installation
  • Bolt-on installation using standard hand tools — no cutting or drilling required
  • Designed to reduce chassis flex and improve handling response

The Cusco 687 540 A Type OS strut bar is a straightforward, high-quality chassis stiffening upgrade that delivers measurable improvements in steering precision and cornering stability.

Quick shipping, good communication, low price, would purchase again from this company.

No problems ordering a leak down tester from Autoplicity which had the lowest price and reasonable shipping charges. The item was well packaged and I would buy from them again.
