Product Details

The ACL Bearings 5M7124A-.75 is a precision-engineered main bearing set designed for Chevrolet 4-cylinder 121 cubic inch (2.0L) engines from 1987-1996. This set is manufactured 0.75mm (approximately 0.030 inch) undersize, making it ideal for crankshafts that have been reground or machined during engine rebuilds.

Key Features:

  • 0.75mm undersize for machined crankshaft journals
  • Precision-manufactured in Tasmania, Australia with over 70 years of bearing expertise
  • High-quality aluminum-silicon alloy construction with steel backing
  • Designed to restore proper oil clearances on rebuilt engines
  • OEM-quality replacement for Chevrolet 2.0L 4-cylinder applications
  • Complete main bearing set for full engine rebuild

ACL Bearings has built a global reputation for robust metallurgy, precision manufacturing, and quality performance. Undersize bearings are thicker than standard bearings to compensate for material removed from crankshaft journals during grinding, ensuring proper clearances are maintained. Always verify crankshaft journal dimensions and check bearing clearances with Plastigauge before final assembly.
