Product Details

ACL Bearings 5M1853A-STD is a standard size main bearing set engineered for precision engine rebuilds and performance applications. These main bearings feature ACL's proprietary Aluglide bearing material, which combines an aluminum alloy substrate with a specialized surface coating for enhanced durability and wear resistance.

Key Features:

 • Aluglide bearing material for superior load capacity and fatigue resistance
 • Standard size fitment for OEM replacement specifications
 • Precision-engineered bearing geometry for optimal oil clearances
 • High-temperature polymer coating reduces friction and prevents scuffing during break-in
 • Manufactured to strict OEM tolerances for reliable fitment

ACL's Aluglide technology provides excellent embedability to trap contaminants and protect the crankshaft journal surface. This main bearing set is ideal for stock replacement applications as well as mild performance builds where durability and longevity are critical. Complete main bearing set includes all shells needed for a full crankshaft installation.

Autoplicity had the part I needed at a price half of the local autoparts store. Shipping is reasonable when multiple items are purchased, for one item the shipping charge seems high. Took them awhile to ship the order(3 full business days) which I think is too long, but they are the cheapest. Only other comment was I usedAmazon payments to pay and then got a coupl of emails from autoplicity asking me to complete my order, which I had already done.
Overall a pretty good experience and an excellent price.

Great price and fast shipping...took only 2 days to deliver. Very satisfied customer

Ordered Monday - didnt ship until Thursday.

Email sent tracking number, but didnt mention which source was used for transport.

Product as described.

Good experience...autoplicity had the most competitive prices for both my jk wrangler daystar dash panel and a smitybilt inclinometer...would have likes shipping to be a little quicker, but overall good

This website was easy to use.

Shopped for the best price I could find on my combo pintle/tow hitch and Autoplicity came in the lowest. So I'm expecting maybe a super long delivery right? Nope they shipped it Immediately and I just got it like 3 days later. I will order again in a heartbeat. Have no fear their a great supplier
