Autobest F2987A Fuel Pump Module Assembly

The Autobest F2987A is a complete fuel pump module assembly designed to deliver reliable fuel delivery and accurate fuel level monitoring. This integrated assembly combines multiple critical fuel system components in a single, factory-engineered unit for precise fitment and optimal performance.

Module Components:

• Fuel Reservoir: Molded fuel-resistant plastic body that maintains a reserve of gasoline within the tank, ensuring consistent fuel availability during acceleration, braking, and low-fuel conditions
• Electric Fuel Pump: High-pressure electric pump that delivers fuel from the tank to the engine under precise pressure
• Fuel Strainer: External filter element that removes contaminants before fuel enters the pump assembly (select applications include an additional internal non-serviceable strainer)
• Fuel Level Sender Unit: Electronic sender that communicates fuel level data to the vehicle's fuel gauge
• Float Assembly: Precision float mechanism attached to the sender unit for accurate fuel level measurement
• Mounting Spring: Temperature-compensating spring that maintains proper reservoir positioning at the tank bottom across varying operating conditions

This complete module assembly eliminates the need to purchase individual fuel system components separately, providing a comprehensive solution for fuel pump and sender replacement in a single installation.
