Autobest F2977a Fuel Pump Module Assembly

The Autobest F2977A is a complete fuel pump module assembly designed to deliver reliable fuel delivery and accurate fuel level monitoring. This assembly integrates all essential components needed for proper fuel system operation in a single replacement unit.

Complete Module Components:

• Fuel Reservoir: Molded fuel-resistant plastic body that holds gasoline within the tank, ensuring consistent fuel availability during acceleration, cornering, and low fuel conditions
• Electric Fuel Pump: High-pressure pump that delivers fuel from the tank to the engine under proper operating pressure
• Fuel Strainer: External filter that removes contaminants before fuel enters the module; some applications include an additional internal non-serviceable strainer for added filtration
• Fuel Level Sender Unit: Works in conjunction with the float arm to transmit accurate fuel level readings to the dashboard gauge
• Float Assembly: Measures fuel level in the tank and communicates position to the sender unit
• Mounting Spring: Temperature-responsive component that expands and contracts to maintain proper reservoir positioning at the bottom of the fuel tank

This module assembly provides a comprehensive solution for fuel pump replacement, eliminating the need to source individual components separately. The integrated design ensures all components work together for optimal fuel delivery and accurate gauge operation.
