Autobest F2948A Fuel Pump Module Assembly

The Autobest F2948A is a complete fuel pump module assembly designed to deliver reliable fuel supply from the tank to your engine. This integrated unit combines multiple critical fuel system components into a single, factory-tested assembly for simplified installation and dependable performance.

Complete Module Assembly Includes:

• Fuel Reservoir: Fuel-resistant plastic housing that maintains a reserve of gasoline within the tank, ensuring consistent fuel availability during acceleration, cornering, and low-fuel conditions
• Electric Fuel Pump: High-pressure electric pump that delivers fuel from the tank to the engine fuel rail at proper operating pressure
• Fuel Strainer: External filtration element that removes contaminants before fuel enters the pump assembly; some applications include both external and internal strainers for enhanced protection
• Fuel Level Sender Unit: Electronic sending unit that works with the fuel gauge to provide accurate fuel level readings in the instrument cluster
• Float Assembly: Precision float mechanism that tracks fuel level and communicates with the sender unit
• Compression Spring: Temperature-compensating spring that maintains proper module positioning at the bottom of the fuel tank across varying operating conditions

This complete module assembly eliminates the need to purchase individual components separately and ensures all parts are properly matched and calibrated for your application. Autobest fuel pump modules are built to OE specifications for direct-fit installation.
