Autobest F2946A Fuel Pump Module Assembly with Sending Unit

The Autobest F2946A is a complete fuel pump module assembly designed to deliver reliable fuel supply and accurate fuel level monitoring. This assembly integrates multiple critical fuel system components into a single, pre-assembled unit for simplified installation and replacement.

Module Components:

• Fuel Reservoir: Fuel-resistant plastic housing that maintains a reserve supply of gasoline within the tank, ensuring consistent fuel availability during acceleration, cornering, and low-fuel conditions
• Electric Fuel Pump: High-pressure fuel pump that delivers pressurized fuel from the tank to the engine fuel system
• Fuel Strainer: External filtration element that removes contaminants before fuel enters the pump assembly (select applications include an additional non-serviceable internal strainer)
• Fuel Level Sender Unit: Electronic sending unit that works in conjunction with the float arm to transmit fuel level data to the dashboard gauge
• Float Assembly: Calibrated float mechanism that tracks fuel level changes within the tank
• Retention Spring: Temperature-compensating spring that maintains proper positioning of the reservoir at the bottom of the fuel tank across varying operating conditions

This complete module assembly eliminates the need to source individual components separately and ensures proper compatibility between all fuel delivery and monitoring system elements.
