Autobest F2940a Fuel Pump Module Assembly

The Autobest F2940A is a complete fuel pump module assembly designed to deliver reliable fuel supply from the tank to your engine. This comprehensive assembly integrates all the essential components needed for proper fuel delivery and level monitoring in one complete unit.

Complete Module Components:

• Fuel Reservoir: A fuel-resistant plastic molded body that holds gasoline to ensure consistent fuel availability during all operating conditions, including acceleration, cornering, and low fuel levels. Functions as a tank within the tank.
• Fuel Strainer: External filter that strains contaminants from gasoline before it enters the module and is delivered to the engine. Some applications include an additional internal strainer (non-serviceable).
• Electric Fuel Pump: High-pressure electric pump that delivers fuel under proper pressure to meet engine fuel system requirements.
• Fuel Level Float: Measurement component that moves with fuel level changes to provide accurate tank level readings.
• Fuel Sender Unit: Works in conjunction with the float to control the fuel gauge display inside the vehicle.
• Expansion Spring: Temperature-responsive spring that expands and contracts with operating conditions to keep the reservoir positioned at the bottom of the tank for optimal fuel pickup.

This assembly provides a direct replacement solution for restoring proper fuel system operation and accurate fuel level indication. All necessary components are included for complete installation.
