Autobest F2748A Fuel Pump Module Assembly

The Autobest F2748A is a complete fuel pump module assembly designed to deliver reliable fuel system performance. This integrated unit combines all essential fuel delivery and level sensing components in a single assembly for straightforward replacement.

Module Components:

• Fuel Reservoir: Fuel-resistant molded plastic body that maintains a reserve of gasoline, ensuring consistent fuel availability during all driving conditions including acceleration, cornering, and low fuel levels
• Fuel Strainer: External filter that removes contaminants before fuel enters the module, protecting the pump and engine from debris (some applications include an additional non-serviceable internal strainer)
• Electric Fuel Pump: High-pressure pump that delivers fuel from the tank to the engine at the required pressure
• Fuel Level Float: Buoyant component that moves with fuel level changes to provide accurate tank level measurement
• Fuel Level Sender Unit: Works in conjunction with the float to transmit fuel level information to the vehicle's fuel gauge
• Module Spring: Temperature-compensating spring that maintains proper reservoir positioning at the bottom of the fuel tank across varying operating conditions

This complete module assembly provides OEM-quality fuel delivery and level sensing in a direct-fit replacement package.
