Product Details

The OTC Tools 6529-4 GM Car Ball Joint Adapter Set is a comprehensive 18-piece adapter kit designed for professional removal and installation of press-in ball joints on General Motors passenger cars. This specialized tool set is engineered to work with upper and lower ball joints on 1996-2008 Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, and Cadillac vehicles equipped with press-fit ball joints.

Key Features:

  • 18 precision adapters for complete ball joint service coverage
  • Compatible with GM cars from 1996 through 2008 model years
  • Works on both upper and lower press-in ball joints
  • Designed for use with OTC USA-made C-frame presses
  • Includes comprehensive application cross-reference guide
  • Features adapter application diagrams and quick reference charts
  • Reference guide identifies press-fit versus bolt-in ball joint applications

Important Note: This adapter set requires an OTC C-frame press (such as model 7248) for operation, which is sold separately. The included documentation provides detailed application information to ensure correct adapter selection for each specific vehicle application.
