The Wiseco 6627M87 is a 1400HD Series forged piston kit engineered for the Mitsubishi 4G63 turbocharged engine. Designed for serious racers and high-horsepower builds, this piston set delivers the strength, precision, and durability required for heavy to severe duty race applications.

  • Forged from 2618 aluminum — engineered, forged, and machined in the USA for superior tensile strength under extreme boost and heat
  • 87mm bore with a -21cc dish crown for optimized combustion chamber volume
  • 28.87mm compression height with 88mm stroke and 156mm rod length
  • 22mm tool steel wrist pin (pin part number S722) included
  • ArmorGlide® skirt coating — reduces friction, minimizes scuffing during break-in, and promotes quieter operation
  • Specially designed valve pockets and optimized crown geometry for improved combustion efficiency
  • Gas-nitrided top ring with Napier second ring (ring set 8700XX) for excellent oil control in turbocharged applications
  • Textured piston crown for improved combustion characteristics
