Prothane 4-1201-BL D50 Polyurethane Front Strut Rod Bushing Kit 2WD Black

The Prothane 4-1201-BL is a front strut rod bushing kit engineered for 2WD applications, replacing deteriorated OEM rubber components with high-performance Shore 50 (D50) polyurethane. Strut rods play a critical role in maintaining proper wheel alignment geometry during rapid acceleration and hard braking, where suspension components experience significant and varying loads. Prothane's polyurethane formulation delivers a firmer, more responsive interface than factory rubber, helping preserve alignment consistency and improve handling precision.

Key Features:

• D50 Durometer polyurethane — firmer than OEM rubber for improved suspension response and reduced deflection
• 2WD front strut rod application — designed to maintain proper strut rod alignment under load
• Superior durability — polyurethane resists compression set, cracking, and deterioration far longer than factory rubber bushings
• Black color — OEM-style finish that blends with factory suspension components
• Drop-in replacement geometry for straightforward installation without modifications

Prothane polyurethane bushings are a go-to upgrade for drivers experiencing handling vagueness, uneven tire wear, or clunking associated with worn strut rod bushings. The 4-1201-BL restores factory alignment geometry while delivering the added responsiveness polyurethane is known for, making it an ideal choice for daily drivers and performance enthusiasts alike.
