Product Details

The Prothane 26-49021 is a high-performance polyurethane front cross member mount bushing set designed specifically for MGB models from 1974.5 through 1980 (U.S. specification). This direct replacement bushing kit upgrades your classic British sports car's front subframe mounting points with durable polyurethane construction that outlasts original rubber bushings.

Key Features:

  • Polyurethane construction resists oil, road chemicals, and ozone degradation
  • Eliminates excessive deflection and movement in the front cross member
  • Improves steering precision and chassis feedback
  • Direct replacement for worn factory rubber mounts
  • Designed specifically for U.S. specification MGB 1974.5-1980 models
  • Includes all necessary bushings for complete front cross member installation

Prothane's polyurethane formula provides superior durability compared to original rubber bushings while maintaining ride quality. These bushings help restore proper cross member positioning and reduce unwanted suspension movement, resulting in more predictable handling and improved road feel in your classic MGB.
