Prothane 16-1603 6-Speed Shifter Bushing Kit for 2004-2012 Subaru STI

The Prothane 16-1603 shifter bushing kit is designed to eliminate sloppy shifter feel in 2004-2012 Subaru STI models equipped with 6-speed transmissions. Over time and through aggressive driving, factory rubber shifter bushings deteriorate, resulting in imprecise gear selection and increased shift throw. This kit replaces worn OEM bushings with Prothane's durable polyurethane components to restore precise, direct shifter feel.

Key Features:

• Application-specific fit for 2004-2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STI 6-speed transmissions
• High-performance polyurethane construction resists wear, oil, and road chemicals
• Eliminates shifter slop and improves shift precision during hard driving
• Reduces shift throw and provides more positive gate engagement
• Includes all necessary bushings and hardware for complete installation
• Prothane Red polyurethane for long-lasting performance

This shifter bushing kit is an affordable performance upgrade that delivers noticeable improvement in shift quality and driver confidence. The polyurethane bushings maintain their shape and performance characteristics far longer than factory rubber components, making them ideal for both street and track use.
