Product Details

The MAHLE 4155-300S oil ring expander is a precision-engineered component designed for high-performance engine builds requiring a 4.155-inch bore diameter. This standard tension expander works in conjunction with oil control rings to provide optimal cylinder wall sealing and oil control in both street and performance applications.

Key Specifications:

  • Bore Size: 4.155 inches
  • Width: 3.0mm
  • Tension: Standard
  • Precision-manufactured to OE specifications
  • Compatible with MAHLE and aftermarket oil ring sets

MAHLE oil ring expanders are manufactured from high-quality spring steel to ensure consistent radial tension throughout the engine's operating range. The expander sits behind the oil control ring rails, providing the outward force necessary to maintain proper contact with the cylinder wall for effective oil control and compression sealing. This component is essential for proper piston ring function and long-term engine durability.

Sold individually. Verify bore size and ring specifications before ordering to ensure proper fitment for your engine build.
