Product Details

The Gates 28328 Green Stripe Wire Inserted Coolant Hose is a heavy-duty, flexible straight hose engineered for demanding engine cooling and air applications. With a 1-3/4" (1.75") inner diameter and a 10-foot centerline length, this versatile hose is designed to replace many sizes of tailor-made, molded curved hoses — maximizing parts coverage while minimizing inventory requirements.

Key Features:

 • Helical Carbon Steel Wire Reinforcement: Heavy-duty fabric reinforcement combined with an internal helical carbon steel wire allows the hose to bend easily into curved configurations and hold its shape for custom routing
 • Electrochemical Degradation Resistance: Engineered with compounds specifically formulated to resist electrochemical degradation — the leading cause of coolant hose failure
 • Easy Installation: Cuts cleanly with a standard knife and wire cutters, allowing the installer to trim to the exact required length and reduce installation time
 • Exceeds SAE 20R2 Type EC: Meets Class D2 Tube and Cover standards (except vacuum applications), ensuring reliable performance in professional and OEM-level applications
 • Wide Temperature Range: Rated from -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C) for reliable operation across extreme operating conditions
 • Water Permeation Resistance: Inner tube construction resists water permeation to maintain system integrity
 • Marine Approved: Approved for marine cooling applications, making it suitable for boats, watercraft, and other marine engines

Specifications:

 • Inside Diameter: 1.75" (1-3/4")
 • Centerline Length: 10 ft (120")
 • Temperature Range: -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)
 • SAE Rating: Exceeds SAE 20R2 Type EC, Class D2 Tube and Cover (except vacuum applications)

Caution: Not intended for fuel or oil transfer applications. Not recommended for vacuum applications.

The Gates 28328 is ideal for automotive, truck, agricultural, marine, and other heavy-duty cooling system repairs where a flexible, field-cuttable hose solution is needed.

Best price..

Very easy, and I like the Amazon payment option.

Ordered on the 20th. Received on the 26th. Parts installed within half an hour of receiving them. No complaints and I'm very happy with the transaction. Would purchase from Autoplicity again.
Thanks!

Really hard to find plugs - autoplicity had over 100 "in-stock" - great price also.

Love the Amazon pay option. Best price I could find on the net was through autoplicity. Great service thus far.

First time user and was great and ease

i received item very prompt and for a great price!

Good place to shop, fast responce and great prices comapared anywhere.

I bought 2 pairs of Stainless Steel polished 12x16 mud flaps. I looked at quite a few mud flaps for my Escalade EXT, and these were the only ones I could find that were not plastic or rubber. They are excellent, heavy duty, polished stainless flaps; and mounting hardware was included. They were well packed, shipped fast and at a very reasonable amount. Best of all they were $26.00 cheaper a pair. So I saved $52.00, got fast delivery, and got a very nice product.....Thank you Autoplicity; definitely saved in my favorites....Bill in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Best price for a product I've been shopping for, for months, and when I saw Autoplicity having it for A LOT cheaper, putting the product in my sweet spot price wise, I didn't hesitate to order.

My bank was a little slow to post the transaction, and I was suprised to get a human on the phone with no effort to make sure my order was properly processed. The gentleman I spoke with was very friendly and promptly answered all my questions.

Only the $5 I'm getting back for this review can make this deal any better, as I have no suggestion for improving the transaction I made with them.
