Product Details

The Gates 24838 Straight Silicone Coolant Hose is engineered for extreme high-temperature applications including radiators, heaters, and coolant transfer systems. This premium 4-ply silicone hose is built to withstand the demanding conditions found in heavy-duty engines with advanced emissions systems that produce higher underhood temperatures.

Key Features:

  • 2-3/8 inch inner diameter for versatile applications
  • 4-ply polyester-reinforced silicone construction for maximum durability
  • Exceptional temperature range: -70°F to +350°F (-56°C to +177°C)
  • Working pressure: 65 PSI
  • Distinctive blue silicone cover and tube
  • Exceeds SAE 20R1 Class A Standard Wall requirements
  • Resists prolonged exposure to underhood heat, weathering, ozone, and coolant deterioration

This straight bulk hose is ideal for heavy-duty trucks, school buses with engine front (EF) and engine rear (ER) configurations, and other applications where conventional rubber hose cannot withstand extreme heat conditions. The silicone construction provides superior environmental resistance and extended service life compared to traditional coolant hoses. For optimal performance, use with Gates PowerGrip SB clamps or silicone hose clamps. Not suitable for fuel or oil transfer applications.

Great experience!

part easy to find

We ordered the wrong mud flaps and you all have been great in helping us. Only one problem, both orders came with the boxes either open or holes in them! Couldn't believe the shape the bosses were in, thankfully the product was ok.

quick, easy and great prices

Cheapest price for Royal Purple oil. Thanks.

super competitive prices and really like the certificate of guarantee. looks like i will be ordering from autoplicity again in the near future

Lowest price we could find. Fast shipping. Would do business with them again.

Awesome prices and fast quality shipping. Order Number: 6095<br>

Beat all other internet prices! Easy to order!

Autoplicity had the best price on the Motive brake bleeder I needed, and they shipped quickly.

I was in the market for a cargo cover for my new Prius and I searched on line Autoplicity had the best price of all and plus the service was excellent as was the speed in which they promised delivery. While I have not received my shipment as of yet, I'm sure that it will be here as promised if their service is anything like what I have received already.
