Product Details

The COMP Cams 4840-8 is a precision-machined flat guide plate set engineered specifically for GM LS3 engines. These one-piece guide plates ensure proper pushrod alignment and rocker arm geometry, critical for reliable valvetrain operation and optimal performance.

Key Features:

  • Designed for GM LS3 engines with 5/16" diameter pushrods
  • Fits 8mm rocker arm studs for secure mounting
  • Flat one-piece design provides rigid pushrod guidance
  • Precision-machined from high-quality materials for durability
  • Helps prevent pushrod deflection and valvetrain bind
  • Essential component for performance valve train setups

Guide plates are crucial when using aftermarket camshafts, rocker arms, or valve springs that alter stock geometry. The COMP Cams 4840-8 ensures your pushrods travel in the correct path, reducing side loading on valve guides and improving valvetrain stability at high RPM. Sold as a complete set for one engine.

Autoplicity had the tire brand and size I was seeking. The tires arrived after a 5 day Free Shipping period, from the opposite side of the United States. Installed the day of reciept and so far so good. The tires were fresh indicating proper storage facilities are in place even though they were manufactured in late 2017...great job overall. Thanks

Checkout was easy.

Quick delivery. Very satisfied customer.

It was easy to order the tire.

Very quick - very easy!

You had some issues when I tried to check out.

Great price on at least my item. A bit high on the two day shipping. Hopefully the shipping is quick!

nice-easy

I put my order at 7/29 and received nothing after the order. I emailed to ask my order status at 7/31 and at 8/1 I received my order. Pretty fast shipping. I am satisfied with the shipping and hope later tonight the product will work fine for my car!

Like the Amazon order option

They are excellent. They were able to send out my item as early as the next day. I am anticipating my product by early next week. Great!

Ordering and paying with amazon was pretty painless.

Autoplicity was easy to deal with, and the price was hard to beat. Will use again.
